I was recently approached by organic skincare specialists Organic Surge to see if I would be interested in reviewing some of their products. I was of course more than happy to oblige as I follow Organic Surge on Facebook and share many of their beliefs. As a result they sent over some products from their exclusive organic hair care range for me to try. I will come to this in a moment.
As with all the products I try, I like to do a bit of background research into the company who produce them. I think it’s important to understand what ingredients are used to make a product and how they are made. I already knew quite a bit about Organic Surge but some further reading showed that they have a real commitment to using natural ingredients and essential oils. For me this is great because it means I do not have to run harsh chemicals through my skin or hair.
So on to the products. I was given a selection of shampoos and conditioners including the new colour protect shampoo and conditioner. I have been using these for the past week or so and found them to be incredibly effective. I am usually pretty fussy about the shampoo I use but the Colour Protect shampoo ran through my hair smoothly and provided an added shine to my hair. The bottles were of a good size and at £4.99 these offer me an affordable high quality hair treatment.
I personally enjoyed using the colour protect range but I would like to see new fragrances added to the range. Some were a little strong for me. I was also surprised to see how many shops Organic Surge products are in. They definitely seem to a brand on the up and I wouldn’t have any problems with recommending them.
